<p>Longtime fans of Axie Infinity are rejoicing in the news that Sky Mavis has launched Axie Classic. The original form of the blockchain game that became a sensation is now back, although with some new twists. Since its creation, the Axie universe has led to the launch of several games like Axie Infinity: Origins and Axie Infinity: Homeland. One change players will note is that Bloodmoon Rising is now the Cursed Coliseum. While engaging in matches in the Cursed Coliseum, the Coliseum places a curse on a random axie on each team. This curse results in the need for the player to replace two random parts from the axie suffering the curse. In addition, players cannot change their axies once a session starts in the Cursed Coliseum.</p><p>So why deal with curses in the first place? The answer is to earn AXP, which is used to level up a player's axies. Sky Mavis introduced the use of AXP for leveling axies with <a href="https://funjible.games/games/Axie-Infinity-Origins">Axie Infinity Origins</a> but that system is now found in Axie Classic as well. A player can earn up to 2,400 AXP per day for an axie and a grand total of 3,600 AXP per player per session. Players use a ticket to take part in a session. The game rewards players a free daily ticket once they clear PvE Map 10. The session lasts until the player loses three times or wins 12 times, whichever result occurs first. The AXP rewards for a session in the Cursed Coliseum is one win equals 50 AXP per axie. The shop contains cosmetic items for players to purchase, not to mention two exclusive axies: Rouge and Noir. Players purchase items in the Origins Shop with gems, which cost an average of one USDC per 100 gems. The two starter axies in the shop will originally list for 500 gems each but that price will go up in the future. As for cosmetic items, the shop sells them via a gacha system (random). The shop also sells upgrade materials.</p><p>The game uses the funds made from gem sales in two ways. First, the game sends 10% of the revenue into the Axie Community Treasury. The new alpha for the dystopian shooter ushers in some ruthless new heroes, a couple of deadly weapons, and dangerous new maps to battle over. Developers designed the systems to add some freshness and fun challenges to players leveling up their heroes and unlocking new weapons. The weapon task progression system entails players completing specific tasks to unlock new weapons. Players can find the details of such tasks by viewing the specifics of locked weapons.</p><p>The second progression system is the account level progression. Players advance through this system by accumulating experience points. <a href="https://funjible.games/games/Citizen-Conflict">Citizen Conflict</a> players gain experience points by winning matches, completing daily and weekly tasks, killing opponents, and other activities. Citizen Conflict features an intriguing takeover system that can have up to three different sides engaging on a map. These improvements include bug fixes, enhance mini-map layouts, improved bullet traces and impact decals, enhanced performance of the character animation system, a new dashboard layout, revamped UI layout, and enhanced hit reception, weapon effects, and animations.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h2><strong>Building on Immutable</strong></h2><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Citizen Conflict aims to provide the best possible gaming experience to its players. This desire extends to the game's very foundation as the game chose to build on the Immutable blockchain. The game's goal of using Immutable is to establish them as “leaders in gaming, expand our reach without compromising security, and create the ultimate player-driven economy experience.”</p><p>A key component of Immutable's tech stack is StarkWare. This system helps process a large amount of transactions off-chain before batching and finalizing them on the Ethereum chain through the use of cryptographic methods called STARKs (Scalable Transparent Arguments of Knowledge). STARKs reduce both the cost and congestion of the Ethereum mainnet in a significant way.</p>

This beta features the launch of Illuvium Arena, where players duel each other in epic battles. The launch of Beta 3 means the end of Private Beta 2. However, Beta 2 players can still continue to adventure in Illuvium Overworld, which remains in private beta.</p><p>In the meantime, Illuvium Arena started early access for some players. The game opened up early access earlier today to the top 100 Arena players by playtime, the top 100 Zero players by playtime, and the top 100 Beyond players on the leaderboard. There is no word on if other players will be given early access before the 28th.</p><h2>&nbsp;</h2><h2><strong>Illuvium Attracting Attention</strong></h2><p>&nbsp;</p><p>First and foremost, Illuvium has been garnering a lot of notice over its development cycle. At least 1.5 million players have signed up to test the game. The number of eyeballs that are exposed to Illuvium will skyrocket as the project is being added to the Epic Games Store, a platform that distributes major titles like Fortnite. Players will soon be able to access Overworld, Arena, and Zero from Epic Games Store. Also, major players from games like Hearthstone and TFT have given <a href="https://funjible.games/games/Illuvium">Illuvium</a> a thumbs-up due to the game's tremendous graphics, blockchain-based ownership, and competitiveness. Now that competitiveness is going to go up a lot as PvP gameplay is coming to Illuvium Arena. This new feature is expected to debut sometime later this month.</p><p>Another update players are looking forward to is the Public Beta 3 for Illuvium Overworld. The previous public beta introduced two new realms for exploration as well as some new game mechanics. One such feature will be the ability to negotiate prices, so let's hope your bargaining skills are pretty good!</p><p>The IlluviDex is also adding a sitewide checkout system. Instead of buying each asset one at a time, players will have the ability to add them to a cart and then pay for them all at one time. Another feature the marketplace plans on adding is the stacking of cards. When a player normally goes to a Web3 marketplace, they usually see several pages of the same item. This system often leads to frustration for players. Thus, they decided to explore regulation now in order to show that the project is trusted, stable, and verified. To do this, Illuvium Labs FZCO has filed an application with the Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA) in Dubai. The project filed the application on September 8, 2023, after receiving an Application Acknowledgment Notice from VARA. There is no timetable on when the authorities in Dubai will approve, deny, or seek changes to the application. It should be noted that the project has secured funding for full operation over the next 12+ months, and the development team boasts over 125 dedicated individuals.</p><p>As you can see, players in the Illuvium universe have a lot to look forward to. However, Pixels focuses on providing a fun and rewarding experience for players first and foremost. The goal is that playing Pixels is worthwhile in itself, but it's not a bad thing if a player could make some revenue as well.</p><p>The integration of other projects serves to expand the possible player base exponentially, not to mention the various kinds of gameplay modes as well. A player can use their favorite Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT in Pixels by playing the basic farming game, then choosing to enter a portal to a FPS project, followed by doing quests in a fantasy MMO, and so on.
