<p>Guild of Guardians recently held a town hall meeting during which Game Director Chris Clay revealed extensive plans for the game following Act 2. Clay opened with current statistics: over 864,000 downloads and 213,000 monthly active users. He emphasized the team's focus on improving retention rates, particularly for lower-end Android devices. They also aim to refine the blockchain onboarding process for new users.</p><h2><strong>New Guardian and Features</strong></h2><p>Amongst all the data, Clay also talked about the upcoming Guardian, which was designed to fill a crucial role in the current meta. While not much was revealed about the Guardian, there were hints at its potential synergy with the existing Guardian, Flix.</p><p>With more Guardians, the game will have more challenges as Guild Bosses will occupy the most dedicated players. This weekly challenge pits guilds against powerful enemies, offering crafting resources as rewards. Clay detailed the system by noting, "The boss has a damage counter, and people will have the energy to go in and fight the boss. Artifacts serve as powerful buffs, and players will need to pay close attention to how they use their resources to ensure they unlock the best alternatives for themselves and their guilds.</p><p>Act 2 already saw Guild-centric upgrades, including Guild Power, a special power boost for guild members, and Guild Quests, which kept players busy.</p><h2><strong>The Current State of the GOG Token and its Impact on Development</strong></h2><p>The town hall also addressed recent market volatility affecting the GOG token. Amidst global economic concerns, GOG's value also dropped significantly over the last few weeks, but Clay assured users that this wouldn't slow down the development stage at all.
