Crypto Games got destroyed in 2025. Let's talk about Crypto Gaming. This was a very tough year for crypto gaming projects as many titles announced that they would shut down. Nyan Heroes raised over $13 million and had 250,000 wishlists. They ran successful play tests, did token airdrops, and built a community. Then suddenly, they halted development, citing lack of funding. Just like that, it was over. Ember Sword received $200 million in pledges, and they still couldn't survive 2025. Plus most recently we saw Aether Games deciding to shut their doors due to lack of players and funds. The problem: most games tokenomics were unsustainable; games printed millions of tokens as rewards with no real sinks. Players farmed, dumped on exchanges, and moved on. Revenue planning was non-existent and many studios acted like the 2021 bull market would last forever. But not everyone made the same mistakes, as there are clear outliers. In this video we break this down further and focus on the teams that will rise like a Phoenix from the ashes.
