<p>QORPO Game Studio's creature extraction shooter, AneeMate, is ready for its first public display with a closed pre-alpha release. This launch is scheduled to go live on August 15, and selected players will get access to the game via the Epic Games Store.</p><p>AneeMate combines PvP and PvE elements, pitting players against each other and AI-controlled robots guarding valuable loot and AneeMates (corrupted creatures that need saving). The focus will be on exploration, with matches lasting 20-40 minutes and accommodating up to 50 players. In <a href="https://funjible.games/games/AneeMate">AneeMate</a>, players get to navigate a vast island (with more maps to come), searching for "Yipies," which are essential items needed to save the corrupted AneeMates.</p><p>"When you first see an AneeMate, they will be corrupted," Bakala explained. “You'll need to save them first with the Magic Staff. When they have less HP, you'll have a higher chance of catching them.”</p><h2><strong>Catching Them All in AneeMate</strong></h2><p>Players need to collect Yipies, which resemble Poké Balls, to catch AneeMates. You need to use Yipies corresponding to the elemental type of the AneeMate you're trying to save. Bakala hinted at plans for even larger environments, stating, "We're also building a second map which will be bigger in size." According to the developers, the current map is larger than similar games like Escape From Tarkov.</p><h2><strong>Crafting Mechanics and Storylines</strong></h2><p>While exploring the maps, players will stumble upon various resources that can be used in crafting. Specific in-game locations will allow players to combine looted materials, helping them assemble more powerful weapons and other items. The game will also feature rotating extraction zones, which will serve as hot spots with players competing to leave the island with their findings.</p><p>The gameplay showcase was impressive, but many fans in the town hall were also curious about the lore surrounding AneeMate. According to Bakala, QORPO invests heavily in world-building and plans for a storyline trailer and TV show. "The story matters for us," he emphasized. If the game succeeds, the developers expect an increased demand for the QORPO token and aim to replicate the same methods with their existing titles, like Citizen Conflict, and future ones.</p><p>As AneeMate prepares for its pre-alpha release, QORPO seeks community feedback to refine the gameplay experience. Access to the upcoming pre-alpha version will be limited to AneeMate Genesis Zero NFTs holders and those who have collected specific stickers.
