<p>Binance has pulled the plug on Aavegotchi and announced the delisting of the $GHST token on Feb. 2. All spot and perpetual pairs will rotate out of the number one crypto exchange on Feb. 13.</p><p><a href="https://www.binance.com/en-BH/support/announcement/detail/87a9bdf137f348668a85575ee02b8a27">Binance’s support announcement</a> also featured five other tokens, Acala Token (ACA), Tranchess (CHESS), Streamr (DATA), dForce (DF), and NKN, which are all getting the axe alongside&nbsp;<a href="https://funjible.games/games/aavegotchi">Aavegotchi</a>. The exchange cited this as a result of its periodic review process, which evaluates digital assets against industry standards.</p><p>$GHST deposits on Binance will stop crediting on Feb. 14, while withdrawals will close on Apr. 13.</p><div class="raw-html-embed">

</div><h2>Aavegotchi developers double down as a response</h2><p>Aavegotchi devs responded to the delisting on Discord, and the message was filled with determination.</p><p>"This is an unfortunate decision, but in the long run it makes us more bullish on decentralized finance and unstoppable liquidity," the team wrote on Discord, noting that GHST remains tradable on Ethereum, Polygon, and Base with strong liquidity across all three networks.</p><p>"This delisting has no material impact on Pixelcraft's resolve to continue building Aavegotchi. The project completed a full&nbsp;<a href="https://funjible.games/news/aavegotchi-ends-polygon-support-migrates-fully-to-base">migration from Polygon to Base</a>, Coinbase's layer-2 network.</p><p>The migration came after concerns about declining DeFi and gaming activity on Polygon, along with infrastructure overhead from running their own Layer-3 network, Geist.</p><p>Aavegotchi stayed busy on the content front, too.
