Let's take a closer look at them.</p><h2><strong>Factions and Guilds</strong></h2><p>The first major update to <a href="https://funjible.games/games/Sunflower-Land">Sunflower Land</a> is the introduction of factions and guilds. These factions represent subcultures of goblins and humans. Such factions will help craft narratives, emergent gameplay, and collectibles. The four factions will be Goblins, Bumpkins, Nightshades, and Sunflorians. The new faction system will use ERC1155 tokens called Emblems, which will use dynamic pricing that is based on supply and demand mechanics for membership in the factions. Overall, the SFL token will be the native token for both guilds and factions. Moreover, burn mechanics for the token will be used in this new facet of the game to help buoy the project's sustainable ecosystem. Over 78 developers helped shape the SDK, which is an exciting suite of tools designed for the making of player-created content. The SFL token will power this new creator economy, with 70% of the tokens being burnt while the remaining 30% will go to the creators. The developers note that such player-created mini-games will be seamlessly integrated into the project's core gameplay. Furthermore, the project says that mini-games that are top tier could actually become intregral to faction gameplay.</p><h2><strong>In-game SFL Marketplace</strong></h2><p>The third major change coming to Sunflower Land is the in-game SFL marketplace. This new marketplace will help usher in an integrated experience within the Sunflower Land universe for players. Initially, players will be able to trade wearables, collectibles, buds, and more within the marketplace but player-created content will eventually be added. The SFL token will power the marketplace, allowing players to use SFL tokens gained in-game to be used to purchase rare items. The developers state that players should experience a number of wearable and collectible drops in the upcoming months that are available with the SFL token. Major items like the Auction House or Stella's Megastore will be available to players via SFL burns. In short, the SFL token will power all of the game's premium actions, making the token the focus of the project's gaming ecosystem.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h2><strong>Deflationary Mechanics</strong></h2><p>The final major change coming to Sunflower Land is the implementation of a deflationary token model. This model rewards strategic players and ensures a sustainable economy. Players will not have to wait very long for this update as the new model will go live on April 3. The game will introduce Coins, a new off-chain currency, to help mitigate inflation. Players will use these Coins during basic farming activities within the game. Players can earn Coins by completing basic deliveries and through Betty's Market. A new area will open on April 3 – Goblin Island – which features the new The Goblin Exchange mechanic. At The Goblin Exchange, players can sell bulk resources for SFL. The game adjusts the prices of such resources based on supply and demand (i.e., the price for a resource will get less the more of it a player sells). As such, these changes ensure that the burning of tokens is greater than the rate of SFL minting.</p><p>Overall, such changes bode well for the future of Sunflower Land.
