One change players will note is that Bloodmoon Rising is now the Cursed Coliseum. While engaging in matches in the Cursed Coliseum, the Coliseum places a curse on a random axie on each team. This curse results in the need for the player to replace two random parts from the axie suffering the curse. In addition, players cannot change their axies once a session starts in the Cursed Coliseum.</p><p>So why deal with curses in the first place? The answer is to earn AXP, which is used to level up a player's axies. Sky Mavis introduced the use of AXP for leveling axies with <a href="https://funjible.games/games/Axie-Infinity-Origins">Axie Infinity Origins</a> but that system is now found in Axie Classic as well. A player can earn up to 2,400 AXP per day for an axie and a grand total of 3,600 AXP per player per session. Players use a ticket to take part in a session. The game rewards players a free daily ticket once they clear PvE Map 10. The session lasts until the player loses three times or wins 12 times, whichever result occurs first. The AXP rewards for a session in the Cursed Coliseum is one win equals 50 AXP per axie. Players purchase items in the Origins Shop with gems, which cost an average of one USDC per 100 gems. The two starter axies in the shop will originally list for 500 gems each but that price will go up in the future. As for cosmetic items, the shop sells them via a gacha system (random). The shop also sells upgrade materials.</p><p>The game uses the funds made from gem sales in two ways. First, the game sends 10% of the revenue into the Axie Community Treasury.
